Two great stories in one!

This book was a great mix of the present and the past. The lovely setting in the old town with the church, the bed and breakfast were beautifully described and portrayed. The Nurse/Harpist was a wonderfully sincere character, and the descriptions of her playing the harp, working with children, and of course, interacting with the two Americans visiting her Mom's Bed and Breakfast were naturally and interestingly portrayed.
There is a secondary story involving long-lost ancestors of the American family that is visiting. The denouement behind the uncovering of their story was well-crafted, and drawn out through-out the novel in a clever way.
This does have a Latter-day Saint audience as the target audience. But anyone would enjoy the tender romance, and the mystery surrounding the couple who left for America after joining a new faith.
One of my favorite books that I have re-read several times as I never tire of the story.

A great read! Cleaver format, intriguing story and a real page turner. I will be ready a lot more books by this author.
