About the Author

Recomended for therapists

I finally read the book. And I really like it.
The book helped me to understand how I car integrate these three approaches. I'm already using Positive CBT in my work. Maybe not "mot a mot" but it stimulated my imagination and let me understand how I can use Positive Psy and SFT alon with CBT.
I would recommend Positive CBT to any CBT and SFT therapist. I must admit that the book may be difficult to understand if you do not know about CBT.
I'm looking forward for new material on this topic.

positive psychology, solution focused therapy and CBt well combined

Practicing Positive CBT is an easy to read book in which Positive Psychology, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy are well combined.
Bannink provides the reader with practical ideas and exercises to employ CBT in a solution-focused way. Various parts of CBT pass in review, like making a functional behavior analysis, executing behavioral experiments and setting homework.
People often ask how to combine CBT with Solution-Focused Brief Therapy en Positive Psychology. This book clearly gives the answers.
