Misk Hamid, poeta, scrittore e giornalista, nato a Fez, Marocco. Dopo essersi laureato in Scienze Politiche, all’Università degli Studi la Sapienza di Roma, ha conseguito un dottorato di ricerca in Storia delle Relazioni Internazionali nella medesima università e diversi altri diplomi in mediazione linguistica e culturale. Ha già pubblicato nel 2006 con Edizioni Associate un Saggio intitolato "Breve Storia del colonialismo franco-spagnolo in Marocco"; nel 2007, una raccolta di poesie intitolata "Ogni volta che mi sussurrarono le stelle" ed un romanzo intitolato "Un viaggio all’altra Mecca", 2009. Con Libellula Edizioni ha pubblicato nel 2012 il romanzo "L’albergo del popolo"; ha curato la traduzione dall’italiano all’arabo del Catalogo "Il Museo della Libia nel palazzo del popolo a Tripoli", Gangemi editore, 2011. Attualmente lavora come interprete e Professore di lingua araba e di Storia delle Relazioni Internazionali.
